Whether you are buying, selling or maintaining a home or commercial building, a thorough, professional inspection can provide you with a comprehensive understanding of each of the systems that comprises a safe, healthy and durable building.  Of course, not all real estate inspections are comprehensive or done by a trained and experienced inspector. 

The reports I prepare include recommendations for correction of deficiencies and suggestions for upgrading to the latest building industry safety standards.

The inspections that I perform are at the highest level and the reports are very detailed, some say, "too thorough".  I believe that kind of detail is what my clients want and need.  I provide a friendly, informative, thorough and unbiased inspection without drama.  Each recommendation is accompanied by a photo and will explain what the deficiency is, why it is a problem and what I recommend be done about it. Remember, I am a private home inspector and my recommendations are not "requirements."  Your report is provided only to you and it is up to you to decide whether you will want to act on my recommendations.

Your Report:

You will find the comments in my easy-to-read Inspection Reports are categorized into the following areas:

usually due to safety or structural concerns

> Maintenance Suggestions
     This format will allow you to decide when you or others
     should address the deferred maintenance items.

Your report will also include:

> Photographs which will clearly show the items in question

> Narrative which will describe the building's systems and
    components; identify any problems; explain the  
    significance of the problem; include my recommendations
    to correct, obtain specialized advice, or monitor the 
    problem areas.

> Suggested Maintenance Schedule which will be included
    to assist you in keeping the building in its best and safest
    condition.

Cost for Services:

If you are looking for the cheapest inspection, please consider another inspector or engineer.  If you are looking for the most thorough inspection and report, you can review my competitive Fee Schedule.  Please remember that my fees are generally lower than an appraisal and a very small percentage of your purchase costs.  Isn't it worth it to know the condition of your building?
